Meet Mrs Mary Gordon

Mrs Mary Gordon is a Clinical Psychologist as well as the sole proprietor and practitioner at Grey Matters Psychotherapy and Assessment Services. Mary holds Clinical Endorsement and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Australia - Psychology Board of Australia  (AHPRA), and holds Fellowship in the Australian Psychology Association as well as having been awarded Golden Keys International Honours Society membership.

Mary is a Clinical Psychologist with advanced master’s level training and expertise in Clinical and Health Psychotherapy, Clinical Diagnostics, Neuropsychological & Cognitive Assessments, and Cognitive Rehabilitation strategies.

Her Clinical expertise permits her to provide therapy using a range of therapeutic models inclusive of CBT, MiCBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Psycho-dynamic therapy, Gestalt therapy, Behaviour therapy, as well as Mindfulness strategies.  Holding Clinical endorsement also permits her to undertake Neuropsychological and diagnostic assessments using measures only Clinically endorsed psychologists can use.

Mary's specializations and expertise extend to her additional certifications and interests in therapy and assessments and in the challenges these disorders create in adulthood. These include older persons,  neurodegenerative disorders, in addition to other neurodevelopmental and intellectual developmental disabilities - with a specific emphasis on adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (inclusive of all levels of severity and Asperger's Syndrome - older terminology).

With multiple locations, Medicare and DVA registered and as an NDIS registered provider with a desire to provide a high degree of care, Grey Matters Psychotherapy & Assessment Services is Toowoomba’s go-to psychotherapy and assessment clinic. Mary provides psychological services that help with coping and adjustment to a range of psychological challenges.
