Although I work with people who have either or both a mental health condition or physical health condition, as a Psychologist, I do not prescribe medications. I do, however, work closely in conjunction with other health professionals, including General Practitioners and Psychiatrist around client’s medication needs, medication compliance or reviews. All treatments conducted by Psychologists are designed to work alongside any medical treatments, and not in replacement of these. The client's condition are discussed (with the clients prior signed consent) between all the treating team members which aims to ensure continuity of care is maintained. Ultimately, meaning the best outcomes for the clients mental well being and physical health care can be achieved.
